Every March, The Village Voice independently produces the Choice Eats Tasting Event. Choice Eats attracts a very diverse group of New Yorkers who are coming together to feast on cuisines from over 35 nations, including Vietnamese, Italian, Uzbekistani, Brazilian, Cambodian, Russian, Tunisian, and Cajun/Creole among many others, Choice Eats stands out as a food event that highlights the hidden gems of New York City’s diverse culinary landscape. Past restaurants who have participated include Momofuku Milk Bar, Kuma Inn, Luke’s Lobster, Peppa’s Jerk Chicken, Tiffin Wallah, Jimmy’s No. 43, Pinche Taqueria and many more.
The event sells out every year to a crowd of over 2,000 food foodies. This year, guests will be invited again to the 69th Armory on Lexington Avenue to sample delicious cuisines that would otherwise require days of travel.
